If you don't have a program to unzip the file, go to:www.winzip.com
and download the Evaluation Version of WinZip. It is free.If you are on a Mandrake linux machine:
1. after downloading it using Netscape, etc.
If you are using RedHat
2. click on the Home Icon on the desktop
3. click on 680.tar.gz
4. click on the chapter number
5. right-click on the file, such as hello.c 6. open with text editor
7. do a save-as to where you want it.1. download the file.
2. from the command line (terminal window), type:gunzip 680.tar.gz
to un gunzip and tar the file.
tar -xf 680.tar
