Warning! Read This First!

You have decided to take a WEB based class.
1. Now, you need to e-mail your instructor with an e-mail address that can be used by the instructor to reach you. DO IT NOW! Note: I will respond to atleast your first e-mail message so that you know it works!
The e-mail address is:

Notice: If tvcc e-mail is down, send messages, but not assignments to

2. You need to be able to send e-mail with attached files.
3. You need to be able to make screen dumps and attach them as files to your e-mail.
4. You need to schedule your time. A three credit quarter course usually meets for 30 hours a term in the classroom, and you are expected to do 1 to 2 hours of work outside of class for each hour of classroom time. Since there are no classroom sessions, you need to schedule 60 to 90 hours of time for working on this course if you expect to succeed.
5. Programing is the art of keeping track of many, many details at a time! You must do it perfectly for it to work.
6. After you e-mail your instructor, read the on-line lectures on "Taking WEB classes", "Screen Dumps", and "Attaching Files to E-mail". If you have problems, contact your instructor at once!
