Due the first class of the fourth week of the term.
Do read and work your way through Lesson Hour 6 of both books.
Do the exercises at the end of the chapters.
Make a list of all of the commands given in Lesson Hour 6 and their meanings or uses. Add them to the command list from the previous hours. Alphabetize it. It is best if you do it on a Wordprocessor so you can add to the list from other lessons.
Do try out the Tcl/Tk exercise in the class notes.
Do check to see if your Linux has Java. If not try loading Java as a tar.gz file from the class CR-ROM as shown in the class notes or get it as a rpm file from:
www.csclub.uwaterloo.ca/u/uw-linux/bypackages/jdk.html
The Projects will be submitted through e-mail and attachments. The computer output can be capture using the Print-Screen key and then pasting it to PAINT program. Results will be sent to you by your instructor. After the DUE date, answers will be posted.
